Norn is conveniently located a short distance from the metropolitan area. After taking the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Takasaki Station, then riding the Jouetsu line to Minakami Station, our guests can take advantage of our complimentary shuttle to the slopes. A 1-hour and 30-minute car ride from Nerima taking the Kanetsu Toll Way, Norn’s slopes are located 3 km away from the Minakami Interchange. Norn offers the finest natural powder snow and is also known for the region’s many hot springs, including the Minakami Hot Springs. Come visit Norn on a day trip or weekend getaway.

Special feature: Snowland
Norn Minakami Snow Land is a unique location that is independent from the primary ski and snowboard slopes of the primary Norn Minakami motel – an area in which everyone, from children, to youngsters and adults, can experience and play in the snow in safety.
The Main Area of Snow Land is positioned at the bottom of the mote. It is an area dedicated to children to play safely in the snow.
The attractions can be found 40 meters away from that safe zone. They are set in a massive area and includes a lot of toys and games to be enjoyed, like snowball making (of various shapes), snow with scoops, sledsand many more.
However, the games are not only enjoyable for children! Older children/early teenagers will also enjoy tubing snow shoe and snowmobiles. You can also ask the facilities to like picking you up at the park, accommodation and participation in special events: Treasure hunting, sleds races and snowball fights!
Entry fees are 1,000 yen per person. Rental of sleds and snow tubes is free, charges apply for some other activities.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sledging: free
Tubing: 500 yen for 30 minutes
Snow racer: 500 yen for 15 minutes
Snow strider: 500 yen for 15 minutes
Snowball fight experience: from 1,500 yen per person.

Due to snow conditions, Snowland may need to be closed and/or some attractions may not always be available
Ski and snowboard lessons are available at Norn Minakami.
Classes targets beginners to experts, and can be reserved from singl person to up to 8 people (for ski and snowboard. The snowbard lessons can also be attended as a family (up to 3 people), but you can always contact the resort for more!
Reservation is required, and the fee is approximately 2,000 Yen for 2 hours (for ski) and 16,000 Yen (for snowboard).
