Reservation deadline

Reservations can be taken 5 days before your departure date. Since there are limitations for bus seating and accommodations, we recommend you to make an reservations in advance.

Availability & Payment information

Please be advised that all reservations will now be taken by Magnet Tours which is J Mountains Group's designated travel agency.

After receiving your reservation request from the registration form, the availability and payment information (including payment deadline dates) will be sent to you within 1-3 working days. If you do not receive any information within 3 working days, please contact us at the following:

Payment

Please wire transfer the tour amount payable to our bank account below by the deadline and keep the bank transfer verification slip as your receipt. Please bring the receipt with you for verification during your trip.

Credit card (Mater, VISA, JCB, AMEX) payment is also accepted.

Confirmation Letter, Coupons

A confirmation letter will be issued after receiving the payment.

Day Ski tour
A confirmation letter will be sent you by E-mail or mail. Bus coupons will not be issued. Please show your confirmation letter to ski staff at each bus stop on the date of departure. Our staff will give you a ski lift ticket in exchange and show you to your boarding bus.

Stay Ski tour
A confirmation letter, ski resort hotel coupon, JR Shinkansen express ticket or bus ticket confirmation letter(option) will be sent to you by mail to your mailing address. In case you would like to receive these tickets at your hotel where you may be staying, please advise us of your hotel name, address and check in date.

Ski resort hotel coupons should be presented to the front desk at the time of check in, then you will receive ski lift exchange ticket. JR Shinkansen express ticket is for free seating on any train.

Child policy

Child prices will be applied to 6-11 year old children. For children aged 12 and over, the full adult price will be charged. Children under 6 years old, who do not need a bus seat or bed may require additional facility fees depending on each individual ski resort hotel. Please contact us for further details.

Cancellation Charge Date

Day Ski Tours (Night departure) and Stay Ski Tours (Overnight w/ accommodations)

Day Ski tour (Morning departure)

Amendment charge (Reservation name, destination, hotel or departure date)

No charges will be required if we are notified prior to the cancellation charge date. If we are notified after cancellation charge date, amendment charge (equal amount to cancellation charge) will be required.

Amendment charge (Day Ski - from/to Plan A to/from Plan B)

It is possible to amend a reserved plan, however, an amendment charge (equal amount to cancellation charge) will be applied from 4 days prior to the departure date.

Refund (Tour cancellation due to weather/snow condition)

Day Ski tour(Morning departure, Night departure)
In case of bus tour cancellation or ski ground's closure due to weather/snow condition, the full amopunt will be refunded. A tour cancellation notification will be sent to you via E-mail or telephone 2 days prior to the departure date.

Stay Ski tour(Ski resort hotel/Train ticket)
If all trains bound for ski resort are cancelled and it is not possible to stay at the hotel, the full amount (hotel & round trip train ticket) will be refunded. However, after a "bound for" train ticket is used, no refund can be made. Hotel extension/Additional meals/Additional Transportation fees due to train's cancellation must be covered by the customer.

Refund (Tour cancellation due to customer's reason)

The balance after deducting the cancellation charge will be refunded to your bank account.

Rental Equipment

The size of rental equipment are as follows:

Deposit/Insurance fee will be required depending on ski resort.
In case of lost/broken equipment, additional charges may be applied.

JR Shinkansen Express free seating ticket

Please be advised that this free seating ticket cannot be changed to a reserved seating ticket.

We highly recommend you to purchase travel insurance for any unexpected incidents which may happen on your getaway.
